Hi everyone!

We hope you’re enjoying your summer so far. You should have received your invitation in the mail, so we’re updating you on some more things:

RECEPTION

The reception will take place immediately following the ceremony at the Hilton Santo Domingo, the same hotel where we have a block of rooms set aside. There will be transportation provided from the hotel to the church and back.

RSVP

When you return your RSVP card, please let us know how many will be attending. Please note that the ceremony and reception are both ADULT ONLY. Should you need childcare, let us know as early as possible so that we may help you with it.

REGISTRY

We are so ridiculously grateful that you can join us at our wedding, that it is present enough. But, some have asked us for registry information, so…

We are registered at Williams Sonoma, Macy’s and Bed Bath & Beyond.

FLIGHT AND HOTEL

The link to book your hotel room is in the post below. We recommend making your reservations sooner rather than later. In the post below that one, the discount code for flights on American Airlines is there as well. We recommend booking your flight by August.

ATTIRE

The attire for the wedding is formal, which means suits for the fellas and long dresses for the ladies.

TRANSPORTATION

As you book your flights, please let us know your arrival information so that we may coordinate pickups from the airport to the hotel.

WEEKEND SHENANIGANS

As the date gets closer, we’ll be updating you on activities for the weekend, aside from the wedding and reception. So keep checking back!!

You can click on each of the rates to find out information on the rooms. The standard room rates include breakfast in both the single and double rooms. The executive rooms are a set of rooms that have kind of an individual restaurant/lounge where you can eat breakfast and have snacks throughout the day.

More Flight Information

The Getty Center - Los Angeles, California - July 2011

Greetings and salutations!!

We've set up a group with American Airlines, which is offering a discounted rate on flights to our wedding. The discount is 5% off the lowest ticket price. You can book your tickets online at www.aa.com or call them at 1-800-433-1790. If you book through the phone, they charge a $25 fee, so keep that in mind. When you're booking online, the site will ask you for a promo code towards the end of the process. That code is 99N2BH. The same code applies if you're doing it over the phone. The discount applies only if you are flying there between November 3rd and the 17th.

Um.... Dear... You're scaring the children...

Hey Everyone!!

Planning is going well and on track.

We wanted to let everyone know that since it's a destination wedding, we know and understand that not everyone will be able to make it to the wedding. But fret not! We'll be having a celebration here as well, so that we can party till our heart's content with everyone that we love. It'll be in the fall, before the wedding. We'll update you with the details for that once it's closer.

For those of you who will be able to come, we'll have hotel information up in the next couple of weeks.

For flights, the airport you would fly into is Las Americas International Airport, code SDQ. The airlines that fly there are: American Airlines, Spirit and Jet Blue.

We also have a travel agent that's helping us out. Her name is Gisela and you can contact her via email at gcservices19@yahoo.com or giselacastillo91@hotmail.com and see how her prices differ in comparison to getting it straight from the airline. Let her know it's for our wedding.

UM Homecoming - November 2011

Greetings!! 


Although it's a bit late, we want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year, filled with plenty of love and many blessings. 


We're so excited to be getting married (*cough* finally *cough*. Blank stare from Dennis...). But most importantly, we're very happy to be sharing it with the people we care about the most.  As you see in your "Save the Date" card, we'll be celebrating our wedding in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, my hometown and Dennis' family as well. We hope that you will be able to join us as we take this next step.


Through this blog, we'll be updating everyone on flights, hotel accommodations and of course, the festivities, so check back in regularly to see how things are going.
